There have been some reports around the place of a vishing scam targeting the Commonwealth Bank. An automated phone message is used and tells you to call the number (02) 8005 6713, if you call this number you will be asked to provide your credit card number and your four digit pin number.
Some people have reported receiving this phone number via email also.
If you have fallen for this scam and called 02 8005 6713 then you should contact the Commonwealth Bank immediately.

Video – Not my videos
I’ve always wanted to know what were a photographers rights when it comes to taking photos in a public place. I’ve seen videos and articles that don’t apply to Australia, and to be honest I bet most people in Australia don’t know.
The general gist of it is:
It is generally possible to take photographs in a public place without asking permission. This extends to taking photographs of buildings, sites and people.
Most people would be aware that a Hurricane that has been named Gustav is currently moving into the Gulf of Mexico and there is currently lots of media attention on New Orleans. Most of the news is about evacuations and stuff like that given that the City is built foolishly close to sea level, in lots of cases below sea level. (New Orleans Elevation Map).
Now here is the fun part I did a little search for ‘Gustav’, and Wikipedia came up with a wonderful result:
Gustav, Gustaf or Gustave (meaning “staff of the gods”)
The name is an old Swedish name, and their have been at least six Swedish kings with the name.
So all I can say now is, for the love of god get out now will you still can because the” Staff of the gods” is coming.
Check this out, must cost a pretty penny though.
May Day is synonymous with International Workers’ Day, or Labour Day, which celebrates the social and economic achievements of the labour movement.
