Real Alternative 2.00 MSI Installer

A new version of Real Alternative is available, version 2.00. Here is the new MSI file for deployment. If you want the normal Real Alternative package it can be found at Codec Guide. The previous version was 1.90.

Details on the build process can be found here at my first MSI installer for Real Alternative 1.75. As always you should actively virus scan these files if you don’t trust them. If you have any issues please post them in the comments with the appropriate version.

Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 ALT+TAB FIX

So if you playing BF2 you will find that after you have updated to 1.50, that was released early this month, you will find that you have problems with ALT + TAB. There is a fix on the EA UK forum that you can download.

QuickTime Alternative 2.92 MSI Installer

A new version of Quicktime Alternative is available, version 2.92. Here is the new MSI file for deployment. If you want the normal QuickTime Alternative package it can be found at Codec Guide. The previous version was 2.90.

Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 Released

Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 has been released to fix some security bugs.

  • MFSA 2009-51 – Chrome privilege escalation with FeedWriter
  • MFSA 2009-50 – Location bar spoofing via tall line-height Unicode characters
  • MFSA 2009-49 – TreeColumns dangling pointer vulnerability
  • MFSA 2009-47 – Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.9.1.3/1.9.0.14)

Battlefield 2 Update v1.50 Released

I previously posted about how Battlefield 2 was receiving an Update to 1.50, well that has now been released so you can download it.
